Baffles for barrels have what it takes.
Anyone with experience in transporting liquids is aware of the challenge: liquids and hazardous goods are set in motion relatively quickly by centrifugal force when starting, cornering and braking. The larger the amount of liquid and the faster the vehicle, the greater the force potential acting on the means of transport.
Too much rocking to and fro can have an unfavourable effect on the tracking behaviour. In a worst case, scenario, the vehicle itself could tip over. Baffles prevent this dilemma. By dividing the tank into several sections, they reduce the fluid movements inside and less rocking means less risk of accidents.
Baffles for GRP drums up to 10,000 litres
In CEMO's GRP drum, baffles are installed in two halves of the drum for faster running vehicles. What is recommended from a drum size of 1,000 litres upwards guarantees you the safe transportation of liquids and hazardous goods.
What if a 1,000 litre drum isn't enough? CEMO can provide you with safe solutions for drum sizes up to 10,000 litres:
Drums from 1,000 to 5,000 litres: 2 baffles
Drums from 5,000 to 7,500 litres: 3 baffles
Drums from 7,500 to 10,000 litres: 4 baffles
